We see one boy giving another boy a toy to play with. He's gracious. Gracious means courteous, or kind.
Listen to Mary. Listen to the teacher.
gracious: kind, polite, courteous, amiable. The boy on the left is gracious and kind.

We see a hospitable man welcoming us into his house. Hospitable means friendly and welcoming to strangers or guests.
hospitable: welcoming, friendly, generous to guests or strangers.

A guy is laughing. He's funny. It means causing amusement, or causing laughter.
funny: comical, causing amusement, causing laughter (ha ha ha!).
