This is the most difficult video in the WalkScore lessons, for Upper Intermediate to Advanced level students. The other lessons are designed for Pre-Intermediates and Intermediates.

You meet two walkers who are enthusiastic about their walking lifestyle, but have never heard of Walk Score™.

conveniences (noun): amenities

immigrate (verb): enter & settle in a new country
you have to drive: you must drive
accessible (adjective): easy to approach or use
hike (noun+verb): a long walk, to take a long walk
errand (noun): a short trip for performing a task
a couple miles: 2 or 3 miles...

  Nick and Flynn do not live in a "neighborhood". They live in in the countryside, on an island, far from highways, but also far from amenities. Their situation is very different from Tatania Burnett's situation. She lives in a suburban area.
