Lesson
24 - "Job" with and without "Do" and "Does" |
| |
|
What's
your job? and What do you do
for a living? The Beginner version of this clip contains only "is" and "are" with names of jobs. The Pre-Intermediate version uses the present simple ("do" and "does"). The Exercises are based on our favorite clips from both versions. The answers in the first clip are limited to "I'm a mailman", for example, but NOT "I deliver mail". The second version includes "Do" in the question, with verbs in the presest simple tense in the answers, for example "I deliver mail", or "I work for a TV sation". The Exercises are based on our favorite clips from both versions. Teachers, please also explain this to your beginner students: 1) Watch the video without subtitles.
