dough (noun): a mixture of flour and water or milk, for making pizza, bread, pastry, or biscuits.
In the USA and in many parts of Europe, we do not make dough. We buy it ready-made.

We use a "dough ball" to make:
1. pizza and pastry.
2. curries.
3. soups and salads.
