Surreal English - Between the late 70s and 1992, we made ESL comedy sketches for beginners. These are examples from the last series in those days, called "Surreal English", begun at the same time as Real English. The real treasure, however, is in the very early videos created by Charlie McBride, Ben Johnson, and Mike Marzio. Our main video, entitled "The Adventures of Charlie McBride" is 3 hours long. Some examples will soon be here if the old videotapes can de digitized!
